Well, I don’t know if I can hold a candle to the men up above.  Those are photos taken in the 1930’s and 1940’s in West Texas and South Texas.  Those are real cooks in action on the range.

I have no formal training, but I can whip up a meal in the most adverse circumstances and with limited resources, and have done so.

That’s what this will be all about – making do and doing it well.
